This was our second "reunion" show and a dear one as it was created to raise funds to honor and support someone close to home. The energy was definitely palpable, and the LIC Bar carriage house (thanks Gus!) the perfect outdoor space for families and friends to converge for a good cause.

The usual suspects make appearances ("Constellations," "Something New," "Fall," and "Memoir"), but I particularly enjoy the Cure cover at the top, which always felt like a Surrealish song when I heard it over the years, and the acoustic finger-picked "Retrieve," (from the GREEN album starring Dan's forehead), which is oh so heavy on the major seven vibes. The ease of the delivery of the tunes and the affable melodic audibles that happen from time to time might be indicative of that soft glow that remembrance oft brings. We had fun when we played, even when singing about the serious stuff and banging a bit on the noise.
